Hi All,
I have a heap of businesses on the waiting list for banner ads. In order to boost banner views so I can take on some of these folks I have added an extra banner for unregistered users. This means if you have not registered with apug for free or subscribed you will see the banner. The new banner is located in every list of threads mid-way. It doesn't seem to be too invasive and it's my policy to have low key, non-animated banners. Above the banner it states "Sponsored Ad. (Free registration with APUG will remove this banner)."
I look forward to giving even more traditional friendly companies some exposure through the site. The increased revenue is also needed. If you have any questions please let me know.

P.S. initially the banners will be in sync with the header banner but I am changing this now so that the header and mid-thread banners are different..
