Hello,
I'm trying to get some info o the Fujinon 300 SW withan IC of 720 mm and the 300 S (that I'm using) that seems to have with an IC of 420 mm.Are they the same lenses or someone already could use the SW in the past?
I never seen one around and I'm triyng to gather more info about it.
Already I have contacted Fujinon Company with no answers....
I don't know if mine is the lens that I7m looking for since I can't test on a 20x24 camera....
Thanks in advance.

I would contact Kerry Thalman through his web site. Nick has provided the link. He will certainly have some information if there is any out there. It may not be on his list beacuse he hasn't gotten one to look over. If anyone can help you, Kerry can. I met him at this year's LF meeting and he is a very decent man who is willing to share information.

I don't know of a 300 SW, but my 300mm Symmar-S f5.6 is a beast of a lens for 8x10. You may be looking at a rather large chunk of change if you find one to use. Please let us know what you find, as it is interesting. tim

The Symmar-S is around 72 degrees of coverage I think. The Fuji SW would need to be around 102 degrees to have an IC of 720mm. At least if my math is right. I'm guessing that would need a much bigger filter then the Symmar. The Fuji 125mm SW is already at an 82mm filter.
