The question mark signifies my ignorance of whether this source would still be cheap for our non U.K. members but for those based in the U.K. the latest offer from www.7dayshop.com would seem to be hard to beat. It's based in the Channel Islands and avoids passing on a sales tax called VAT for items under £18 by being based where it is. Any small items like film which in total exceed £18 are sent in separate packages, each under £18

5 pack of Velvia 100F 35mm x 36 exposures for £5.99
5 pack of NPC160 120 roll for £3.99.

The velvia is dated 08/05( that's month first then year) and the NPC is dated 11/05. The NPC is also available in later dated packs of 01/06 and 05/06 for £4.99 and £5.99.

As I am U.K based myself I have never checked its facility for overseas shipping or cost but film is relatively light and compact.

It has a full range of film products including Fuji 4x5 sheet film and includes Ilford and Kodak products but these listed above seem to be this week's bargains.Fuji often figures in its bargain offers

Most UKers probably are familiar with this site so this information may be redundant to them. Others might want to check it out or not after converting £ into local currency like $ or euros.

Anyway there it is for what it is worth. My connection with them is simply as an occasional customer who is on their mailing list.

photomart.co.uk also appears to have good prices on films, esp if you buy a lot.

I have used them for several years, earlier they would take three to four weeks to get your stuff and then it would sometimes get lost. They have imporved a lot since then and are my main source including Kodak HIE! They also do other stuff sucha as camera lenses and photographic paper.

Thanks for the very useful info. I tried the site last night. For others who may not have looked here, I discovered that to find prices it required me to register. However this is free but involves an up to 24 hrs wait. Incidentally part of the registration requires you to quote your company but don't worry about this. I simply put the word "retired" in and was accepted. It is not a site for business users only so don't worry about needing to put in large orders to qualify. In fact there is a discount for larger orders but the price structure means that an orders of 1 does not disadvantage the customer unduly.

Films prices are very competitive, especially Fuji colour neg. RA4 paper prices are the best I have seen by quite a margin, both in Fuji and Kodak. Photomart appears to carry Agfa RA4 paper as well.

With current bargains in B&W Ilford Multigrade RC 10 x 8 the prices are still better than I have seen but not by such a margin. However in 5 x 7 the prices are the best I have seen. Tura is also available.

The only fly in the ointment would appear to be delivery times based on the threads of users.

You mention improvements recently. What has been your experience of order to delivery time on your recent orders in terms of number of days - roughly.

If these times have improved from a matter of weeks and the service is reliable then Photomart looks to be a good find and thanks for sharing it with us.
