I've decided that this enlarger will be too big for me to use in the forseeable future, and also need to clear some space.
The enlarger's a Beseler 23CII (I think, based on http://www.oresteen.com/bess23c.htm) in grey. It's marked as a 'universal colorhead', but that's just space for colour filters.
Mechanically it's very sound, but it will need re-wiring, for which all the parts are there. It's currently wired for 230 volts, but I couldn't get a ligh mount that would put the bulb in the right place for the condenser, so you will need to re-fit the old light mounting, and probably wire up with a 230-110 V transformer.
Alternatively I believe that more modern heads also fit. You will also need to get a negative holder, or make one - I used this with a neg holder made from thick card.
