Filters for 15mm Super Wide heliar

Hiya people, I'm new to this forum. I've just bought myself a Voigtlander 15mm Super Wide Heliar. Has anyone got any experience with this lens? I want to be able to use filters with it, the thing is there isn't a dedicated filter adaptor for it like the 12mm Ulra Wide. Any nifty ideas to solve my problem? I've been told to just hold a gelatin filter infront of the lens. This seems pretty awkward to me though. I'd rather something more rigid and reliable without running the risk of my fingers creeping into the shot. Thanks alot

there is a special adopter for 77mm filters for the 12mm which I understand can be bodged for the 16mm, if you have both lens...

Gel taped behind the lens is the only solution I have found, and I've had the lens since it came out.

A bad solution, but I've tried 39mm filters with a bit of black electrician's tape around half the outer edge of the filter. It fits neatly into the "hood" of the lens for a shot or two, but you need to be careful when moving around that it doesn't fall out. And the vignetting is bad. A slim filter might be preferable in this respect. As I said, a bad solution but might work in an emergency sometime, if you have some 39's around.

I think you need two or three layers of tape on the lens periphery to hold the 12mm filter adopter/hood securly on the 15mm, you need some one who has both lens and the 12mm adopter to confirm.

Thanks, I have a box of Lee filters here which've been cut to pieces from when I had to insert them into the back of my old Sigma 15mm-30mm zoom. I'll try again.

Ah great, I've sussed it out. I drew around the screw mount of a 39mm filter onto what's left of my Lee Filters and cut it out. Fits perfectly and there won't be any problem with vignetting.

I have found a custom made 72mm filter adapter for this lens. It's the best solution. In fact the same price compared with the 77mm adapter which is standard available for the 12mm lens.
