Next year in August I will turn 50 and have booked a 2 weeks trip to the Azores Islands with the missus.
I will bring three cameras, a DSLR, a Nikon FA and my Rolleicord.

My question to you, mighty BlogBrain, is what film I should bring? I'm thinking Velvia 100 for the Nikon but I'm unsure about what 120 film to bring.

B&W? C41? Chrome here also?

Any suggestions?

I would bring B&W, just so I have both color and monochrome. My film preference would be Plus-X, my go-to B&W film in good lighting.

EDIT: Now that I read the topic again, I would suggest putting the Velvia in the Rolleicord, and the B&W in the FA.

For that sort of landscape, I'd be using slides like Velvia or maybe Kodak E100VS. I'd probably bring a little BW, maybe some XP2 just for simplicity.

I was thinking about 120 Velvia but I don't have any 6x6 projector. Azores is supposed to be very colorful so maybe B&W is not the best choice. Or maybe it is? Luckily I still have time to ponder this.
