Last week I received an order of 400TX from a NY mail order firm. It was advertised as "manufactured in USA for worldwide distribution". The boxes show a date of 09/2005. On the other hand I have some MF APX100 showing a date of 1/2007. Is this short dating by Kodak something new or have I just not been looking close enough at past orders?

It would appear that this batch has been on their shelves longer. It has not been my experience that Kodak's film has a shorter shelve life.

Looks like the rolls you got having been hanging around for a while. Still well in date so I don't see any problem.
Just received a small batch of APX400 to try, it's dated 7/2008! Can take my time with that lot I guess.
