Eugene Richards speaks at UC Berkeley
Magnum Photographer Eugene Richards will lecture and sign books at U.C. Berkeley's Center for Photography, Graduate School of Journalism on Friday, October 1 from 6:30 to 9:00 in room 105 at the corner of Hearst and Euclid in Berkeley. This event is open to the public and is free. Seating is limited so come early. Richards will sign copies of his book, The Fat Baby and Dorchester Days before and after the talk. Eugene Richards is an editorial and Magnum Agency photographer, a dedicated skilled teacher, author and filmmaker. He has seven photography books and has received numerous prestigious honors, including a Guggenheim Fellowship, The W. Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography and the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for Lifetime Achievement. His most recent book, The Fat Baby, a series of photo essays done on assignment for major editorial clients.
