I bought 4 rolls of Cine Color 125 to use in my Cine Kodak. I didn't realize the VNF process was different from regular E-6 film.
Is Ektachrome 125 able to be developed in E-6 chemistry with satisfactory results by a regular lab? Will this lead to any speed loss I need to compensate for?

I'm fine with subtle color shifts since I've been using 30 year old Kodachrome 25.

I -think- it should be fine... on Kodak's Motion Picture site they say that (at least for 100D in 35mm and 16mm) that it's more or less the same as E100VS.
"Q: Which 35mm still films match the technology and performance of Ektachrome 100D, 5285?
A: Good matches are the Kodak Professional Film E100VS or the consumer film, Kodak Elite Chrome 100 Extra Color."

You should get an image though, even if the colour is different.

edit: this is what I'm assuming based on what the films share in common, I do not know the difference between VNF and E6, there's not much info around on VNF.

In any case list of VNF processing labs:

edit2: okay found a somewhat relevant reference (finally)
"Officially, VNF in E6 will give you bad results. Unofficially, the only difference is the time and temperature of the second developer (the color developer) need to be modified."

If you can ask an accomodating E6 lab to double the colour developer time (its a process to completion), perhaps you might be all good?

I don't think that there is any processing left for this film.

The only people that I know of that run VNF are private persons who run their own line. Otherwise, I would try to call a real cine lab (not Dwayne's) and ask them about whether they can run the modified E-6 process.
