Durst Printo Processor Rebuild

Hi!
I rebuilt this processor I got off ebay. I think this is the only corner of the internet that might now know these things are, maybe its helpful to someone
Oh and if anyone wants the file to print there own lemme know.

What size prints can those make?

11x14 is the largest. Seems to handle strips all the way down to .5" too

What material did you make the gears from? I would have used POM (Acetal) from the mechanical point of view. But I have not yet investigated in the chemical resistance.

Actually the intro is 310mm wide so theoretically you can run 310mm wide paper as long as you like.

In practice though, one has to carefully align the paper up so it goes through straight. With 305mm wide by 406mm long paper (12"x16") it is easy peasy as you curl it up in the intro unit, then feed it emulsion down into the feed rollers. Close the lid and with a two bath set-up you have done either RA4 or B&W paper in approximately 90 seconds. Let the paper fall into a tray full of water, then place the paper into a wash tray and you are in business.

The exit rollers are a squeegee type and minimise the amount of carry over from bath to bath.

I've had mine for over 20 years, bought it new for doing wedding prints, paid for itself over and over in just a couple of years.

That is great, but it seems every time I need some 3d printing from a third party, I have no software for OSX to create the part. Where do you get the software?

Would love the 3d files... just resurrected my printo and will be trying to get it all working again...
Were there any other problems than the cogs.
I'm a bit worried about the rollers sticking together...
We'll see.

Really cool! Would you mind sharing the model file? I own a Printo with the same broken gears and I have a 3D printer too! What material did you use to print these?
