Hi there!

I have a Durst M605 B&W enlarger with an OSRAM bulb (150W).
During work the enlarger itself is getting hot very quickly.
My lens is a Rodenstock up to f16 and most of the prints I can only make on f11 or f16 for a very short time.

Maybe the light source is too much?
What kind of bulb would be the best?

Thanks,

István

Yes, 100W is the maximum power for the M605.
You need Osram Xenophot HLX EPF 64627 (12V/100W) which costs about Eur. 15,00.
The same lamp is used in more Durst and Dunco enlarger models. (For the diffuser type).

best regards,

Robert

For condensor type 75W or 100W (Opal).
I do not think 100W is produced anymore. These light bulbs are under EU law for special lamps, however 75W is still in production however since a year very expensive: Also Eur 15,00.
