Hi guys,
I am in the process of setting up a home dark room and looking to buy a Durst L900 enlarger with CLS 450 head. I would appreciate the collective wisdom of the group.
- Will I be able to use 60mm and 150mm enlarging lenses with this enlarger.
- Will I be able to print 4X5 negatives
- What is the general opinion on the enlarger and the specific colour head.
Anything in specific, I should look out for on the unit - Good - bad ?
- Is there a manual available on the net in electronic form for this unit?
Thanks for all the help.
Cheers,
Ramesh

No manuals on the net AFAIK.
But you can purchase manuals from durst.it for EUR 25 apiece. That is cool EUR 50 total.
L900 as far as I understand is a 6x9 enlarger, and while I presume you can fit CLS4500 head on it, I do not know if you will be able to print 4x5 with it.

I would wait for a L1200 to become available if you are looking to print 4x5. As said, the L900 is 6x9cm. It's not the head that is important, it's the negative carrier, and diffusion box and they are 6x9 max.

Cheers, Bob.
