For those of you who work with photolinen, how do you display your work. Do you frame it with glass or leave open? If left open, do you seal the print with any substance?

Regards,
Peter

I got some of the Maco/Cachet Structura photo linen, and haven't quite gotten anything I like enough to display with it (it may just be too outdated), but my plan was to mount it on a stretcher and hang it without glass.

I asked a similar question regarding liquid emulsion on timber recently and a good substance recommended for sealing that was Griffin Varnish, so it may suit photo linen also.

I haven't done it yet, but a friend stretches his canvas prints on artists' stretchers (like paintings on canvas) and lacquers them. The results are very impressive, and he has more orders for custom work than he can handle.
