With the P600 and P800 discontinued and P700 and P800 only offering limited support with quadtone is there any alterantive ways to print digital negatives with current printers beyond the simple one colour inkjet prints of the past?

It seems that most solutions nowadays rely on Epson pigment printers so, assuming you're using one of these printers:

1) Take a look at: https://www.photo-historica.com/digitalnegatives

2) There is also Mark Nelson's PDN system: https://www.precisiondigitalnegatives.com/

3) If you're a DIY type of person, there is much information around the interwebs about constructing your own curves, etc.

Up until recently, I always printed my digital negatives directly from PS through the regular Epson printer driver. Since moving over to Richard Boutwell's QCDN software, I now use QTR.

Thanks gents - some good links - the last time i did this was with Dan Burkholder's technique so I'm totally out of touch with what happened after his book but it seems the same idea. Print a stepwedge in different colours and choose the one that looks best.
