A friend of mine has a De Vere 8x10 copy camera on a 34.5” long bed. Also comes with a 4x5 reducing back. The whole setup is amazingly, solidly built (as you would expect from De Vere) and a very good candidate for conversion to an 8x10 enlarger. Lens opening is ~ 71mm. Due to camera size and weight, local pickup in Vancouver, BC, Canada is preferred. (We could not figure out function of those 2 cast iron blocks, but they are painted with the same paint as camera)

The blocks are probably some type of risers, from the look of them.

How much do you need to get for it?

If you're so inclined to crate it, any clue how much it would cost to ship to south Texas, USA?

Hello - I could get a friend in Seattle to pick it up for me. Would the owner take $350? Is he/she selling any lenses as well?

I also think the blocks are for risers to make large prints.
Also, the $350-$400 seems like a pretty good deal to me and a good base for an enlarger conversion.

I want this to make a horizontal enlarger but I won't have the funds for two weeks. Also, I need to know if I can afford the freight cost.

Yes, there is one lens but with different mounting thread, 19" Apo Artar

Have you sold the DeVere copy camera yet? Unfortunately, I have been unable to find a friend that can travel to Vancouver. Would you be willing to ship it to Los Angeles? If so, how much would that cost? Greyhound is a good and affordable option for large and heavy items. Please let me know when you can. Thanks.
