At least they dont consider 11x14 to be a seperate category, though their inclusion of 6x9 is quite puzzling.

The 'photographers who have used large format' is a weird thing too. I would say the majority of famous photographers have used large format.

LF is sometimes viewed as being any sheet film camera, (opposed to roll) and therefore would/could include 6x9 (sheet) cameras.

A discussion of the changing view of what LF is would probably be better. There was a time when 4x5 was mostly with RB and considered medium format.

Ah, good idea there.


I'd also like to see a better description of hte flexibility of LF, and definetely somethign better about what a view camera is ...
