Hello all,

Glad to have found this site. Long time, multi-format photographer. Now mostly 35mm rangefinder and panoramics (Xpan and Widelux). Strictly an amateur, with tons to learn. This site will be a great resource.

Welcome to the Group!!!

"Amateur" has as its root, the Latin "ama" -- "love". It signifies that one does something for the LOVE of it rather than the money... not a bad thing, and, thankfully, something that has never left me.

You have "tons to learn"?

We all do. The more one learns, the more we realize how much more there IS to learn. Something like trying to reach the horizon -- no matter how far we travel we never really get any closer to the end of our journey.

Or the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?

Welcome, Haugaard!

Welcome to APUG from Roswell, Ga.! We are getting more Apuggers here in the Atlanta area all the time. Maybe one day we can have a genuine "event" for us all. PM me at your leisure, I'll give you some contact info.
