I have been trying to make cyanotypes using T max film. The negatives are normal, not too thin or dense. I am not getting an image even with really long exposures. I put a strip on non T max along with the 4x5 T max and the strip of 35 mm is processing correctly. Whatsa matta? Doies T max absorb UV? Help!

Yes, the base of T-Max films block a lot of the UV. I think in the tune of 3-4 stops.
