Is there any Cinestill reversal film available in 35mm currently?

It's my impression that the Cinestill project only does negative films, as in the stocks that are normally shot in the large studio type motion picture cameras, thus negative stocks.

No - you may find the reason in the fact that Kodak discontinued 7239 Films in the 90th.
35mm Cinefilm never exist - if I am correct.

Isn't there a 5285 Ektachrome 100D? I'm not sure you can buy it new, and cinestill is actually nothing to do here, but it is movie reversal film available in 35mm at 400ft bulk.

There was, but has been discontinued. I've seen some shots of this film in this forum, with the cine perforation and edge markings:

They are most in use outside a studio dmr.
But you are correct - in the 50th and until the early 70th shots often were done in studios with very big cameras.
Handheld cameras in 35mm are much much smaler today.
There are also smal cameras in 70mm
(as handheld version ) avaible.

No - 100D was only to a short time the last stuff to Super8 as I remember correct also to Normal8.
Perhaps you had it also with 16mm but I don't think so.

So you can't buy (expired 400ft cine rolls)
of Kodak 100D in 35mm.They were never
avaible.

The only cinefilm in 16mm I personaly used was Kodak7239 as positive film.

It was avaible within the 70th as a color
emulsion (reversal) for television news in
color.

Sorry to correct you Anon Ymous - because you are one of the friendliest
guys I know here on Apug.
But perhaps you mixed it up.
In line 6 stefan4you mentioned
Kodak Elitechrome100 that wasn't a cinefilm - it was just the light version of
Kodachrome100G in europe.
You may be right in case that this film was the basis to 100D in super8.
But (as in stefans example) it was just in
135-36.
But never mind .

Thumbnail #3 is of some 35mm Ektachrome 100D 5285, has cine perforation and if you look carefully, even has footage numbering.

Whow - you got me SuXarik....
Excellent - Kodak 100D in 35mm (Kodak5285).
I doubt in this very strongly - that may be the 16mm film I can't easy remember.
But I as I looked on this picture it is indeed5285!
And 52 indicated : 35mm.
Well - SuXarik if you are able to present
next a picture of 100D in 65mm I would
doupt to your photoshop experience.

UNBELIEVABLE. ....but this was obviously
a very short run from Kodak and may
indicate that Kodak wasn't short with
35mm Ektachrome to that time.
After this period (of a few month ?)
they discontionued all E6.

That is not my day - today Anon Ymous.
But I don't care about.
If I would had noticed 100D in 35mm to that time I would had bought this stuff
in tons.....
