As the SQ has no mirror lockup option, I’m wondering if I could use the double exposure feature to accomplish the same thing. Anyone tried this?

After engaging the double exposure lever, I think you need to wind the camera before you can trigger the shutter again. In doing so, the film won’t advance, but I think the mirror still drops. I had the SQ-A, SQ-Ai, and SQ-B though, so never would have tried this.
