Bronica RF 645 100/135

any one using these lenses? I have heard camera must be modified....I have one of the first bodies sold and have the 100 bought a few years later...the 100 focus on this camera body works flawlessly, frame guide lines of course might be off a bit....does anyone have both of these lenses? I am interested in finding a 135. This is one of the best cameras I have owned and use the 45, 65 and 100 on a regular basis...

I agree - it's a fantastic camera. But I'm only willing to admit that because I have already built out my kit.

I did read that the focus on individual cameras must be adjusted to work with the 135mm lens. I suppose you could use the 100mm and the 135mm on the same body. But you would need to decide which framelines you want - there is no way to have both framelines.

that was what I was thinking....since my camera body was one of the first ones out, it is my understanding that the 135 was the first lens designed and there was some problems with that lens, so the 100 was issued...I have never seen a 135. I obtained the 100 and it works fine on my older body, I was under the impression than the camera would not focus correctly with this lens, but it does, so maybe if i get the 135 it will also focus but i will need to adjust my composition in relation the frame? In any case through the view finder you do see all and more of the image....

have you used the 135? It is the only lens for the camera that I do not have...myabe that is what is bugging me!

I've never touched the 135. But, from what I've read, the rangefinder adjustment is critical with this lens because of the short effective rangefinder base. It can work if you have your camera adjusted to match a periocular lens (small manufacturing variances come into play). That's why the lens was discontinued - it would have been too expensive for Bronica to adjust each camera individually to each lens.
