I bought a Beseler 45MCRX a few months ago and am finally getting around to assembling it. It has an older Beseler dichro head (dials, not digital) that has a separate transformer pack.

My question is, where the heck does it hang from?

The cords in and out of it are short so it MUST sit directly between the dichro head and the power/control box to the right, but there doesn't appear to be any attachment points on the enlarger or head. The transformer itself has several parts that look like they'd just loop over a hanger.

You hang it on the carriage of the enlarger that rides up and down with the head. Usually it'll hang next to the head opposite the lift motor side.

Thanks. If I understand you correctly, it should hang off the left side of the protruding portion of the carriage where the head attaches?

I had mine hanging on the crossbar that the head swiveled back on.
See the attached picture.

Thanks for the photo Mr. Beasley. I'll have to take another look when I get home tonight. Is there an actual attachment point, or did you mount it with cable clamps, etc?

The transformer has a bracket that hooks over the bar and theres a screw to be tightened to keep it in place.
