have a look at this beauty..

It seems to be a 11x14 camera - no brand mentioned. But in good condition.
Lens: Rodenstock Apo-Ronar-CL 1:9, f=360 mm.
estimated value: 490$
cheap or?

This Gandolfi (you already own one...) costs more.. and no stand...

This Lancaster also costs more... and also has no stand...

and your model does seem to come with a film holder...

I would say seems like a good deal... especially if it needs no repairs...
Yeah.. no brand... but you dont see the brand on the negatives anyway..

It's wonderful. Looks like an addition to your studio.

Is it tight and good, or worn out ?

What does the little ivory label say ?

I would be concerned about a 360mm Apo-Ronar giving good coverage on an 11x14 negative except in the very close up range,

yes - but I can't see exately the size o fthe camera - the auction house is NOT specialists in this area..(I could phone them..)
on the other hand - not to worry.. I have a 500mm lying aroung somewhere..

(PS: the txt on the camera say "Heinrich&Poulsen" which were the danish importers for more than 100 years..)

Depends on what you want to do with the camera. I would be sure of the film size...it may not be 11X14.

These old studio cameras usually don't sell for nearly as much as a field camera because their use is limited to studio settings and for use as a portrait camera.

I have seen 11X14 Deardorff studio cameras on Ebay and not receive any bids.

Something about shipping the 11' stand takes the bloom off the rose.

Double jeopardy! It won't look correct until you find a 22" Voigtlander Petzval to hang on the front.

Remember a note to the postman on how to photograph the mail...then you can pick up the negs later that day and then dev and print your mail...

it is not possible to get info on the seller, unfortunately...
I tried once when one of my sculptures were on sale.
only if I contacted the police...... which is a bit far to go...
