Before I start what may be a futile search - does anyone know:

Was a Polaroid film pack back/insert ever made for the Baby Linhof (or one that could be adapted? One that would use the current Fuji film packs.

Thanks in advance.

I have seen such a thing once. Didn't buy it, because things weren't looking good for Polaroid at the time, but maybe I should have. It must have been replacement for the full back, because anything that can hold a medium-format Polaroid film pack isn't going to fit under the 6.5x9cm groundglass. You might check with Bob Salomon to be sure.

If you're really desperate, one solution might be to get one of those Chinese Linhof 23-->Hasselblad V adapters that you can find on eBay and use a Hasselblad V Polaroid back.

I do use two of these backs on my Linhof Super Technika 6x9. They are regularly listed on ebay (see e.g. 360214309360 for a recent listing which ended a few days ago). They work well with Polaroid 664 and 669 (I still have a number of them refrigerated) and the current Fujifilm FP (without "45") filmpacks. The exposed area is 8.5 x 7.3cm, i.e. almost the whole film area (9.5 x 7.3cm). Only two small stripes (approx. 5mm) left and right remain unexposed.

David - I think I will check with Bob Solomon to get a model/part number and then keep checking the auction site.

Heinz - I checked the eBay item number you posted - are you sure it's not for a 4x5 Linhof? You give me hope.

The one that Heinz posted looks right to me for the Tech 23. They wouldn't have made a 4x5" in that style, because you can slip a 4x5" Polaroid holder under the groundglass. I suppose they show up more often on eBay.de than eBay.com.
