Hello Ralph,
medium format and autofocus is like a Porsche with a camping trailer. You should try to find out why your pictures are out of focus. Maybe the solution is a simple eye correction lens made by an optometrist or a magnifying viewfinder. If you only don't have time to focus quickly enough you should take a F-5 or F-100.

I'm not an expert on this, but I do like my Pentax 645N.

For the Hasselblad V Series, there is no autofocus capability. I believe that there maybe for the H Series.

I have used autofocus with the Nikon cameras and that works well except for cases
when the contrast in the focus area is too low for the electronics to work well or
when there is something between you and what you want to focus on. Example, when you want to focus on an animal at the zoo in cage the autofocus may want to focus on the cage bars rather than the animal. Or when shooting a store front window and you want to focus on the store interior and the camera wants to focus on the reflections on the window.
I hope that helps.

I love my Fuji GA645zi. The autofucus and wind are seriously loud, but other than that, it never disappoints. Even the slow lens doesn't seem to be a big issue because it is so easy to hand hold to silly low speeds.

Autofocus and medium format - will move you into 645 territory. Unless you like the Rollei 6008AF - same beautiful Zeiss glass as Hasselblad, and 6x6 shooting.
Otherwise I'd gladly recommend the Contax 645 cameras as well. Very good autofocus capabilities. The Pentax 645 cameras seem to work really well and have lots of happy users.

Good luck, Ralph!

I can recommend the Pentax 645N or NII.
