Are the Docter Optic range of lenses still manufactured for LF cameras?
I read somewhere of this little known brand, but can`t find any info about them. eg, lens type, shutter type and filter thread sizes etc.

AFAIK not, but there might still be a few hanging around on dealers' shelves-Mr Cad used to stock them in the UK & might still have some.

The Docter Optic lenses are excellent. PM Kerry Thalman, he may have some left.

Docter Optics lenses are no longer produced. As people have pointed out, there may be a few new lenses left over on the shelves of camera dealers.

Contact Arne Croell(sp?) or Kerry Thalmann regarding the history of these lenses.

Kerry Thalmann still lists a few in the APUG classifieds (see March 26th listings). I bought one of the 750mm lenses, and it is beautiful.
