Hi,

anyone have experience of pushing APX400 either 1 or 2 stops? preferably souped in the hot rod.

In Rodinal I would go with 1+25 if you push it to get an acceptable dev time. I haven't done it as APX400 is not my film...I don't get along with very well.

Expect LOTS of grain!

In you soup it in Rodinal expect much contrast and grain. I love that effect, but if you want a smoother neg use XTOL.
APX films and Rodinal results in contrast and vivid grain.
