    Hi folks,

Just wanted to let everyone know that the biennial Alternative Photographic International Symposium is shaping up to be a fabulous event this year! Download the event flyer in PDF form here: http://www.bostick-sullivan.com/Apis%202007/apis%202007.pdf

For those of you unfamiliar with APIS, it is a three day event of photographic lectures, demonstrations and social events. Keynote speaker this year is photographer Kenro Izu, and our honored guest speaker is Rondal Partridge, son of Imogen Cunningham, and famed photographer in his own right.

Last, but certainly not least, Kim Weston, grandson of Edward Weston, will be presenting his work and holding a discussion session.

APIS is not only an educational event, but a chance to network with other photographers, educators and innovators.

Just confirmed today! Andrew Smith of the Andrew Smith Gallery, the premier photo gallery in the desert southwest, will be hosting a party exclusively for APIS participants. Andrew's parties are legendary in Santa Fe, and is sure to be a highlight of the festivities!

The price of the conference is $225, which includes all the events. Sign up at the B&S websitehere.

APIS is coinciding with Photoarts Santa Fe, a city wide festival of photographic events. Santa Fe is renowned for it's world class shopping, dining and has the third largest art market in the United States! Plan to stay for several extra days and make a day trip to Taos, Abiquiu (Ghost Ranch) or Acoma Sky City.
