I am going to be down at Mickey's house late this week, and early next. I am thinking about taking a break and goingto the Ansel Adams at 100 show at the LA County Museum of art. I understand Michael A Paula also have some prints in another exhibit there. Has anyone seen either show yet? Anyone know how far it is from Disneyland? I won't have a car, so I will be cabbing it most likely.

Last year I saw the Adams at 100 exhibition in London. Although everybody is familiar with his work -we have all seen it in books or magazines - it is still a thrill to see the real prints.

I can't see the exhibition, so I bought the book! I have seen a good portion of what's termed a Muesum Portfolio or something like that, and can recommend it given that some of the prints will be the same

Definitely go see it. I saw it when it was at the Hayward Gallery in London and definitely reccomend it. (They had Eggleston as well, who they described as the "Ansel Adams of Colour"...)

Do go see it, I loved seeing genuine Ansels up close.

Definitely a must see! I saw it in London last year, at the Hayward Gallery. We travelled to London especially to see Ansel's prints "live". I wouldn't have wanted to miss it for the world. It was very inspiring.

Ansel at 100 is out at MOMA/Queens in New York at the moment. I'll try to get out there in the next week or so, once I figure out the bus route (should be easier than the subway from my side of town).
