I have ThorLabs catalog from Germany. 1500 pages , optic experimental gears.
There are 2 categories interested me.
First , EdgePass Filters , Second Colored Glass Filters.
Catalog writes edgepass filters are good for photometry. Do photometry means remote sensing ?
There are two subcategories for edgepass filters :
----------
A - Long Pass Filters
--------------------
CUT ON WAVELENGHT FOR EXAMPLE 400 nm
TRANSMISSION REGION 400 - 2200 nm
REJECTION REGION 200 - 400 nm
PRICE 70 DOLLARS
B - Shortpass Filters
--------------------
CUTOFF WAVELENGHT FOR EXAMPLE 450 nm
TRANSMISSION REGION 400 - 450 nm
REJECTION REGION 450 - 585 nm
PRICE : 70 DOLLARS
Unlike colored filters , their cut on , cut off wavelenght will shift to shorter wavelenght when the angle of incidence increased.
And there are colored glass filters , two subcategory , longpass and shortpass filters.
Now let me ask , which category helps me at archaeology , surface survey and painting analysis.
I want to take a vineyard and see the anomaly , take ground picture and see the anamoly for help to archaeologist or a painting and lots of surprises.
Any experience ?
