Striking whilst the iron is hot. Any takers for round 3. Prints scheduled to be sent by the end of October 2006, same guidelines as the previous two rounds so please read through them to see what is considered acceptable etc.

For this round please specify if you class yourself - or others do for those that are shy - as: (B)eginner (I)ntermediate or (E)xpert which will help in putting the groups together to ensure an even spread - again every attempt will be made to put people into new groups!

Please also include your first name if not your full name as well as your apug moniker to make things easier to communicate.

*** Cut-off date for signing up is 17 Sept 2006 ***

All the best, Carl

I'm in. This is one way to encourage me to make new work (and improve on the old too).

i'll give it a try. i've had some good luckwith cyanotype, but i'm not going to use that. mark me as a beginner, and i'll be making an argrotype or maybe just using some emulsion on some really cool paper i found at the art store.

I guess count me in again. I'm a sucker for punishment.

I do how ever have a gripe with people. If you sign up, follow through! Between all the exchanges this last time (Blind, Group & Alt.) I sent out 9 prints and got three in return. If it wasn't for Allen Friday's print that was great, I probably wouldn't have reupped.

I'm caught up on all my exchanges (shipped out Postcards rounds 6 and 7, Alt-exchange 1 and 2, Blind Exchange 4, and Traveling Portfolio 1 and 2 all in the last week), so I guess I can join in again on this one. I'm still considering myself a beginner in albumen until I can get rid of those pesky blotches.

I know I'm double posting, but I didn't see an edit button on my last post. You told me to reference what I would be doing, I'm pretty sure i'd would like that my prints be mordancage....but I'm inclined to change and therefore could differ at some point:wink:

At the rate I'm going maybe I could print R2 and R3 at the same time. Can't get the &^&%$&^() ferric oxalate to mix again.

It should dissolve over night.
