AGS, doctors order?

I have caught a severe case of AGS as have some of you out there.
What is your favorite treatment?
Will a dive into simple lenses help or worsen the AGS?
Will this be expensive or can I treat the symptoms by bottomfeeding?

Abstinence is the only remedy

Buying lenses is even worse and leads to the abyss. . . . . . . . .

The best Rx I've found is seeing work I admire done with something like a Diana or by someone who always shoots one film in 135 format and always uses a 50mm lens.

Mostly I just need know that "real" magic bullets are spiritual.

Spartan discipline and acquiring an ascetic attitude to life is the only remedy I know. Then again, a good friend of mine apparently likes being in the abyss.

GAS is actualy a mental problem. When women have it it is called a shopping sprey.....
See your favorite shrink and ask her for advice.

Forget chemo and radiation treatment, I have it thats why I can be cynical about it, it just worstens GAS.

Maybe GAS is a sign that you are unhappy and that you need something to give you a better feeling, you think.

If it's the same person he went over the abyss and ended up in the North Sea

When spotted he was rescued and put to work on an oil rig as penance !!!

One pragmatic thing you can do is resolve to sell one piece of gear in order to replace it with something different. That slows down the vicious cycle somewhat. And if you do go through with it, it feeds the inner demons while also not destroying one's finances.

If you need a quick fix, go with135. If this is a chronic disorder best to go with something methodical like 4X5 and up. Only use 120 in severe quick fix situations.

Depends on what kind of camera you now have. One feeds the GAS, one feeds your existing camera.
