Tomorrow at the NE Kansas shoot, I plan to use a roll of Agfapan 25 that I came across. It expired in 1989. It hasn't been refrigerated but it's been in cool, dry spaces all along.

I have no idea what sort of develoment time to give this. All that I have handy is D-76.

Any advice?

The MDC calls for a time of 13.5 min in D-76 1+1. However, this is film from 1989. I've done VERY little old-film processing and I can't draw on my experience to help you further. Perhaps others can. I know that HC-110 is often recommended for old film, but you have D-76. I would guess it would do an ok job at the 13.5 min time.

I'm not sure it's listed anymore. I downloaded and printed-out the MDC a couple of years ago. APX 25 was still listed then.

Go to this website:

http://web.tiscali.it/visualphoto/films/agfa-apx25.html

Hope I got it right.

Scroll down and you will see the development times for APX 25 in D76.

D76 stock 9 minutes @ 68'
D76 1:1 13 minute @ 68'

Would recommend to use 1:1.

Add to your favorites for future referrences as another source for film development.

Good luck.

On the MDC, you have to select "Unlisted Data" along the left side, then scroll down to Discontinued Films.

If you would like me to scan the copy of the MDC that I have with the times for APX 25, I would happy to pm it to you, but your D-76 should do a fine job.
