I am having great trouble here in Australia sourcing C-41 developing chemicals. Agfa has gone bust and Kodak kits are no longer imported. I could order from overseas but that means that I am paying at least double for my chemistry because of all the water I'll be shipping. Perhaps I'll be forced to go that way eventually.
I have one 500ml Agfa process 70 kit which is good for 6 rolls of 36x35mm according to the accompanying paperwork.
Going on the usual conversion, this should be equivalent to 6 sheets of 10x8 or 24 sheets of 5x4 which is the size I want to develop.
I want to develop 4 sheets of 5x4 at a time in my Jobo tank which requires 250ml for adequate coverage. That means that to get the full use out of my (scarce) chemicals, each 250ml aliquot needs to be used 3 times.

My question, therefore is this:
How much extra time should I allow for the second use? Third use?
Is there a website containing this sort of information that someone could point me at?

Ow! Have you tried getting some CN-16 chemicals from Fujifilm? Perhaps they could get you parts to make 5 liters? I guess at least their minilab division would have some chemicals?

or minilab kits from Kodak........I'm sure someone will have them to keep all those minilabs going. Over here in NZ I use 5 litre Tetanol kits, have you looked for those?

Thsnks for the suggestions, Petzi and claytume. I haven't found any minilab suppliers as yet (haven't tried very hard) but that is an option - I'd be worried about the quantities I'd have to buy going off on the shelf though. Tetenal bought locally is another option. It is expensive although probably cheaper than importing Kodak kits. I'd prefer an option cheap enough so that I could afford to use chemicals one-shot. Tetenal here costs $67/litre kit which works out to about $4.20 per 5x4 sheet if used one-shot.
Haven't seen a price on 5-litre Tetenal kits.

I think the price here for the 5l kits is about $140 NZ. The minilab kits come in several bottles of dev/blix per pack so you make be able to talk to a friendly lab owner and buy a bottle at a time.

Don't know if you're buying retail or not, if you are you're better off contacting a lab supplier and getting it direct. Maybe you could put the call out and split a pack with fellow Ozzies.
