What film? this determines how accurate you need to be.

Next, what shutter speeds do you actually use in the field? Those are the speed setting you need to check.

Typical light? Daylight with clouds? This is EV range to look at.

Sacrifice a roll. Pick 4 shutter speeds. Set ASA 1/2 stop lower than film speed (or your shooting speed) to adjust for possible meter aging. 3 tests at meter, plus, minus 1/2 stop.

Look at results. Have a good summer shooting.
