A couple of months ago I put a roll of 120 HP5+
through a 1/24 part of one liter of stock Acu-1. A
Bunch more dilute than the can's recommended dilution
for a 400 speed film; rather than 1:5, 1:11. More
than enough development; 500ml solution
volume, 12 minutes.
In the next few days I'll have another same film
for same processing save for dilution. I'll up that to
1:15. I'm quite sure a 1/32 will prove to be plenty.
So, 32 rolls/liter of stock. That's up from the can's
12 rolls at 1:5 using 500ml of working strength.
Forty plus rolls are the claimed capacity. At their
recommended slower film dilution of 1:10 and solution
volume of 250ml, 44 rolls can be developed.
My liter of stock went straight into 4, 1/4 liter
glass Boston Rounds equipped with the Polyseal-
Polycone caps. Further splits bring me to the needed
1/32. I've no partially full bottles. Dan
