This evening I received a nice German Ventura 69 (6x9) pocket folder. It has a 105mm f6.3 Agnar in a Vario shutter (no coupled rangefinder). As a free bonus the seller included what he described as "...a 1913 wooden bodied folding strut camera converted for 120 roll film." The bonus camera turned out to be an Icarette 501 rollfilm camera, image size 4.25 inches by 2.5 inches! The lens is a 120mm f4.5 Zeiss Jena Tessar in the old style Compur Shutter. The lens is clean and clear and the shutter works well. The bellows appears to be light tight. The camera has adapters (homemade) for 120 roll film. Looks like you need to load it in a darkroom (or changing bag). I'm going to try both folders out this weekend.
