I've been having luck with the Jobo 2500 series drums. the plastic reels are bigger than the standard jobo white reels. they're black. they work fine though. I have a 2551(?) drum, and it takes 2 4x5 reels or 4 120 reels. Very handy.

ebay is your friend on this. I happened to get my drum/reels at a local camera show for $10. my find of the month
(almost a year ago). the reels don't come up very often, but get em if you can. they are usually sold with a drum. I use my drum on a Jobo system, but I know people who use them in addition to Expert drums on Unicolor/Beseler motorbases with great success.
they use a flexible clear tube though with a funnel attachment(similar to a beer-bong actually
), just a little smaller.
they put one end of the tube in the end of the drum,
while the motorbase is spinning. poor chems in. this leads to more even development, especially with roll film. washing is done with the lid off under a tap, or if you are water conscious, you can do it with the Ilford method, with multiple changes of water while the drum is on the base. standing the drums on end to poor in can sometimes cause uneven development from what I've heard/read.

the funnel part can be had for about $5 worth of parts and 2' of clear tubing from Home Depot.

if your motorbase doesn't reverse the direction it turns randomly or timed, you'll want to turn the drum around every 30s-1min or so. just so you minimize/eliminate streaking on your negs. I've had this happen, its a PITA.
