By a stroke of luck, I got my hands (greedy hands) on both of these lens. Both Copal 3, both on "top hats" Sinar plates. I want to use either, or maybe even both on my Tachihara 8x10 (I got both lens really, really cheap)
They look nearly identical in specifications, and before testing them I'd like to know if either or both have any special "sweet spots", like better close focus, better coverage and such...
The Schneider has some separation at the rear (in the border), and some sort of odd trace inside the front element (cemented) but the photographer who used it said it never had any single issue with it.
