Hi Folks
There is a genuine possibility of the manufacture of a lightweight multicoated lens in the 155-165 range to cover 8"X10" with movement at F22, the maximum aperture would be in the region of F6.3-F9, this would be in a Copal #1 shutter and similar in size to a Cooke VIIB weighing 250-300 grams with a filter thread of approx. 52mm, could anyone who would be interested please respond so I can get an idea of numbers and could you also state the approximate price you would be prepared to pay and also any comments or ideas. It would be most helpful if you could respond within 7 days.

Regards

Tony Lakin

P.S. I do not have any financial interest in this venture, no interested party would be asked for any form of commitment, financial or otherwise.

Hi Tony

I'm interested with your proposition. I look for a affordable lens to build a ultralight weight 8x10 camera. A wide angle with 300g could be very interesting if the quality is there!

For the price the less is the best! I don't know the price for similar lenses on the market (if they exist!). So I would say 800$-1000$. If it's more, I would use a Fujinon A 240.

Could you tell me more about the manufacturer and the delay?

Didier
