I went into Camera & Darkroom this afternoon to replace the 8x10 easel I lost. They had a nice combination easel for $50. The girl let me have it for $40 to "preserve the art".
And there are oh so many photography-related innuendos, if you think about it for too long.
I got my first SLR with 4 rolls of film and a filter tossed in for free because the guy who sold it to me tought darkroom photography at a local school, and was apparently slowly going insane having to sell digital point and shoots every day. A nice bloke, sorta looked like a pirate.
Hrm I get little things here or there all the time in terms of preservation. Though the comment I hear the most is that its better to see someone actually using it than to sit in the basement or a landfill forever.
