I have not had any problems with XTOL. Sometimes manufacturing problems happen. Get over it.

Send it to KEH and they will take care of it. The lens needed a CLA and the shutter trigger shaft has jammed. I had this happen when I received the 500mm lens. Samys' repair person removed the body for me and KEH CLA'd the lens. I never had a problem again.

Kodak has always stood behind its products. Kodak has great quality control. Sometimes problems slip through quality control. Kodak will replace any bad products as quickly as they can. Every industrial company has these problems. Get over yourselves.

If the camera body is not cocked the mirror will be up and the viewfinder would black.

The camera body indicator is important and has prevented me from jamming the camera. I would not buy a Hasselblad body without one.

Well that shows that Leicas are trash and you should only use Nikons. No one needs more than 36 exposures on a roll of film!

I had always thought all Mamiya Cxxx equipment was completely interchangeable.

All cameras must have regular and consistent maintenance done. Nikonos cameras can go directly into ocean water, but not Hasselblads and Leicas.
