I first heard the term from an army general who thought a particular idea was especially costly and useless. Years later someone at Kodak used the term WOMBAT for a particularly bad idea. WOMBAT ===> Waste Of Money, Brains And Time. Apologies to wombats who are mostly quiet and unassuming...
I print them, matte and frame them and hang them on the walls. I used to show my slides. I used to keep photo albums. I make copies and send them to friends and family members especially if it is a photo of a child or pet.
I never bought anything from the Spiratone Catalog but I would get a kick out of looking at it. Can we order from this catalog now and are the prices the same?
True, however the question posed was for cameras which were designed without the Fresnel lens. It is the addition after the fact is the question in play.
Fixers aka hypo generally does not have the oxidation problems that developers have. Hence the posts that the fixer last a long time as long as it has not been expended by use.
The scene on the negative will be out of focus. That is the whole point of all the posts. The Fresnel lens must be on the outside of the ground glass or the camera focusing will have to be readjusted.
I have been using the Jiffy Calculator since it came out in 1963. I would start with scenes 24 to 26.

I cannot see how Shanghai or any other company can respool Kodak Portra and make it cost effective. There is little in the market for 220 film, little incentive to build or expand the market, and very little enthusiasm on my part to step into the market.
If someone offered to me the 40mm CF FLE at the kind of prices I bought the 30mm C Fisheye and the 500mm C lens, then I could probably find a use for it. But you need to rent or borrow the SWC and use it for a few rolls to really appreciate what the rectilinear lens can bring to the party.
