The information needs to be on the film. If the details are not on the negatives, there is no way to raise the details from the dead.

I had Minoltas from 1966 to 2004 and I never had a problem with them. Since 2004 I have had Nikon cameras for 35mm.

I always reuse fixer ==> Color negatives, color slides, black & white film, color and black & white paper.

I hang the film to dry in the shower and close the shower door to cut down the air flow. I use a paper towel on the bottom corners to draw off the PhotoFlo & water.

My foot control, bought used with the enlarger, has glow in the dark on it so I can find it. The lights only need to be on for a short time to revive the glow.

The mirror lock up was needed for the f/4[?] 21mm lens. Since that lens was replaced by a f/2.8mm 21mm lens that did not protrude into the mirror area, the lock up was believed to be unnecessary.

I recently misplaced the 28mm lens for the Nokonos V some place in my home. I have looked everywhere I can think of. Now I have to look in places that I cannot think of. It will be in the last place that I would look. <<sigh>> This is not fun nor is it funny! 😢

I cannot remember using Zone 2, I use Zone 3 more than half the time and Zone 4 the rest. Someone posts videos much north of here with all shadows illuminated, much too light for me. Some things should remain in shadows, I will not argue that with you.
