This listing is for a Leica M-A film camera body in black chrome, near mint, basically new, condition. Serial number is 5899XXX, making it a recent production model, probably within the last 2 years. The closest one I've been able to identify is #5677504, dated 11/17/2023.

I cannot find a mark on it (see the detailed pictures). Viewfinder is crystal clear, perfect, zero dust. Camera functions perfectly. I would definitely say the camera lives up to its hype, it's a treat just to hold in your hands. The viewfinder and shutter are what really set this camera apart from all the other M’s I’ve owned, DAG CLA service notwithstanding.

Sale includes what is pictured: body and caps, no box, no strap, plus new condition Leica instruction manual.

The new price of a black M-A has now jumped to $7000 (plus tax). New black ones are very difficult to find (I was able to locate only one dealer in the US with stock) and pre-owned ones as nice as this are pretty much unobtanium.

Yes, I had listed this before but then couldn’t bring myself to part with it. But I have to come to grips with my poor vision issues, so here it is.

Asking US$4200. Price includes UPS ground shipping to CONUS. I can ship internationally, but shipping and any import fees are on the buyer. Please add 3% for PP G&S payment.

PM me with any questions you may have, but please don’t initiate a conversation by replying to this post. Thanks for your interest.

Yeah, but honestly the price he's asking (which wasn't in his post when I asked) is quite reasonable. A new one is $7,000+ now. I bought my MP for $5,300 I think it was. That was in 2021.

The price, being asked is more than reasonable, albeit not low.
