I bought this camera 2 or 3 years ago and used it maybe 6 times. I wanted to replace an old Calumet 8x10 which weighed 18 pounds! Why am I selling it? Because I have a Wista 8x10 that's lighter and simpler. I'm 70 years old. No lens but it comes with a Sinar size board adaptible for a Technica...
I'm getting lots of fun information here - I enjoy it. But nobody ain't gettin' me no camera no more yet.
I've got 2 of the 18 pounders - I'm selling one of them. I just can't use them in the field - that extra 4-5 pounds is more than you think. I'm almost 70 . . . no spring chicken like you...

The camera was originally made with magnesium castings — giving it a weight of 14 lb. When a City of Chicago Fire Marshal inspected...
The seeing is very nice. The picture has an otherworldly quality to it - not commonplace.

I also have an SBC luna pro - also very accurate.
Thanks - Anthony

I've had this tripod for 3 years and have used it with 4x5...

Previously I advertised this camera for $280. Now it's $170 plus shipping. (You can't get a older gray Calumet for that!)
