Well, as I understand, the Mentor reflex is not the same as the (older?) Goltz & Breutmann klapp reflex, not sure though. I see different reflexes mentioned in the catalogue. Further, in the catalogue they distinguish different but almost identical plate sizes; your Mentor camera might be made...
I have seen these also for 6,5 x 9 cm film (from a seller in Vienna). These are not from Zeiss, Ica, or Contessa-Nettel, but might fit camera's made by them.
Your holders came with a Mentor (klapp reflex) camera (see below) - aka Goltz & Breutmann reflex.
I have a comparable camera from...
I guess the ~1mm difference is mainly due to the thick sides of the Polish septums; they cause the film to be 'pushed' further backwards into the filmholder.
Since you have slide-in holders (that is they must slide into the camera - contrary to pop-off / pop-in holders) I guess it would be hard...
Since I have double wooden holders, this gives me a change to determine - with a ground glass inserted into the holder - whether focus corresponds to the actual groundglass; and if not, to make some corrections (with shims) to the actual groundglass.
Since you can't do this with (single) metal...
It will sell in better times, even sales on ebay are low these days....many seems to be hiding until the economic wars are over...
and its nice to have an (half) automatic M7 and a manual MP with different magnification
That's the one I never had but still like to acquire some day, love the coupled f-stop and shutterspeeds.....
but buying from US is for us in Europe a no go (very high import duties)
If this is a mockup of parts, it will be less..... Strange - and red flag - that the seller doesn't even mention his/her experience with this camera, and or does not want to shot one roll.... but with your comment he has what he probably wants, and that is a price advice.
have already sold one, and do not regret it; had too many camera's and are these months selling quite big parts of my collection....
oh and the type 2, this type 2 is especially rare since the table on its back is not in English, like most of them, but in French (I guess therefore this camera...
Its the only hood that was made for this type of Rolleiflex; the 'regular' bay1, bay 2 and bay 3 hoods do not fit. Since this special hood is very hard to distinguish from the regular hoods, and therefore not as such offered by (regular) sellers, it is very hard to find if it is not provided by...
I had two of these in very (really) beautiful condition, a type 1 and type 2; few weeks ago sold the type1 and still have the type 2; perhaps I will sell it indeed (and this one has the very very rare sunhood and the (also quite rare) matching leather case. ....
I bought (after using several older type of Rolleiflexes and Cords) in the 'end' the 3.5f type 5 (white face) - have 2 of them (one for color the other for b/w), because of the very high resolution of the six lens planar. I had the 2.8f before but found it too heavy and did hardly ever use the...
it might help if you measure the diameter of the (threaded) mount, and - with help of a thread gauge - measure the thread pitch (I've answered this on your same question in LF forum)
