I managed to find industrial pH meter. It is Great Lakes Instruments model 570P. pH Meter is dismantled from old control panel and was going to recycling. This one probably works it was on the self about only three years. I can have two more meters of same model but working is maybe more so so...
Dividing into two parts gains probably really nothing but mannitol does if you read the patent that this topic originally based on. Mannitol forms Borax complex buffer as does Glycerol too and that buffer complex seems to be very stable. Magnesium sulfate is my own addition based on my reading...
"New Insights of the Fenton Reaction Using Glycerol as the Experimental Model. Effect of O2, Inhibition by Mg2+, and Oxidation State of Fe" ...pdf can be found on Google
Mg+2 is mentioned there and another interesting thing is

I am new here and with film developers but I have some experience of process chemistry and and education too. I did read that patent and also more articles so I composed next formula (untested but I will test it)
Special 7-DSApLL 1+6 concentrate
Part A
680ml DI water
20g Borax
68g sodium sulfite...
I doubt quercetin solubility too with minimum of 100ml ethanol should be possible but then mixed with water it will probably precipitate. Unless we find some common type emulsifier agent that disperses it into micro emulsion not to make dotted negatives. I became thinking maybe lecithin can work.
I wonder if next formula would be working developer
Roseglow 7
12g Cloves (ground and then mixed with low polaric index solvent, example 120ml everclear and steeping mixture about 4h in 40 degree Celsius water bath. Maybe ad 1g sodium sulfite)
40g rosehip powder (steeped in 40 degree water 4h...
This research is also interesting outside of patent US3022168A

But enough offtopic😅 I may post someday on more suitable topic. I did find suitable thread...
According to old swedish patent it forms buffer with borax and if I did understand correctly it can also protect ascorbic acid/ascorbates from oxidation but that may be from somewhere else than in the patent
This is my first post on forum and my latest purchase was some raw chemicals. I m planning to make developer by myself
500g D-mannitol
500g Salicylic acid
500g Ascorbic acid
1kg Borax
1kg Sodium sulfite
1kg Magnesium sulfate
1kg Trisodium phosphate
Before that I ordered 10g Dimezone-S and...
