Have decided to get a Bronica GS-1 . My enlarger will support 6x7 and I figured to stay brand loyal with my other Bronica's.
So if you have one you want to sell ,let me know.
Thanks -Gary
After being away for a few days I've done a little thinking about it and I think I'll go along the 6x7 format instead of 6x9.and even that I'm still on the fence about it ,I'll have to do some research about the bronica.
I want to thank all of you for your input and suggestions into this...
I do have an S2a , Ec , and a etrsi .I enjoy using all but I would like to shoot more landscapes and was thinking 6x9 would fit the bill.i am partial to the bronica's but the rangefinder style of camera seems easier to use.
Looking at buying either a Gs-1 or a Fuji Gw690.i do have a couple of bronica's now but would like a 6x9 camera.
I'd like to hear some pro's and con's
Thanks Gary
An ETRSI just popped up locally and i will try to get to see it.they dont last long seemingly here today gone tomorrow syndrome.and it is very reasonable in price.i know all of these camera's are sort of a crap shoot.they are old and i expect problems and my problem is that i inspect all aspects...
Thanks for getting back to me. As you probably know pictures look great until you see it in person.it does look very good so I think I'll explore it a little further.i have read that are backs are light seal nightmares? So im thinking a camera like the mamiya m645 with only a cover should...
just wondering, has anyone ever used or have any experience using a Bronica etr-c camera. have an opportunity to purches one but i see hardly any talk of this version. all it is is etr, etrs, etrsi .from what i see it is the same but no removable back like a mamiya m645. pretty interested in this...
just replaced my focusing screen with one from rick olsen for my bronica s2a.replaced mirror foam and screen foam also.looks at if was all original as it just flaked away ,it was not even the goo i have been reading about.just shot a couple of pics and everything seems real good, focus is crisp...
maybe there should be a seperate posting/forum for the dates of camera shows around the country.if i would have known i would have gone.i was in bryn mawr pa over the weekend and could have scheduled a side trip.
Took apart my dirty nasty 135mm nikkor q lens for my s2a and cleaned and cleaned.lot of cotton buds, alcohol and microfiber clothes.came out beautiful. Just need to take some pics now to see how good it is.even it is soft you couldnt beat the price i paid for it.came out of a pawn shop.
Sweet.
