The word “donate” or “donation” doesn’t even appear in the Kickstarter Terms & Conditions. There is, however, this statement:
“There are projects that will be unsuitable for Kickstarter and won’t be permitted to launch. For example, you can’t create a campaign solely to raise money for yourself...
The Kickstarter was to buy machinery and a portion was to be used to produce/pack/ship film to backers. Ferrania stated the film was basically a sure thing, they just needed the money, blah blah. It’s all been discussed before. LOL.
If they wanted a pure donation there were other ways to do it...
I’m surprised to see some still give any weight to anything Ferrania says. If they say they are nearly ready to make 120 film, I sure wouldn’t be making any bets they’ll actually do it. LOL
Are they still producing P30? I periodically check the dealers listed in the Ferrania website, but they...
Ferrania Whine Fest? Sure, why not? Sounds like fun.
Ferrania. LOL. The amazing success story of a company that promised color slide film in four different formats (including Super 8!) and then went above and beyond to bestow upon us an 80 speed (debatable) B&W print film in just one format at...
I don't recall anyone here disintegrating into clueless banter about Film Ferrania and saying "GIVE ME MY FILM NOW!!". I think there are simply many people who are understandably disappointed with what Film Ferrania has accomplished up to this point. Furthermore, as I have mentioned before...
In a "position" for one E6 film run in four different formats (35mm, 120, Super 8, and 16mm)? Here we are over 2 years after their little run of P30 black & white film in just 35mm. And still nothing other than that one small run of P30 in 35mm.
Is it really possible that Ferrania would have...
Well... it was originally Film Ferrania that thought they could produce something similar in a few months...
Apparently people shouldn’t have believed what a group of former photographic film manufacturing personnel were saying about their own efforts to produce photographic film...
Well, before it does, I found this interesting page the other day while doing a Google search to locate their home page...

"Returning Fall of 2019"... well, I hope so!
To really make use of that "hate"-fueled film dryer, they'd actually need to be selling some film first.... which.... they aren't...
A lot of companies don't need to visit online discussion forums, as the quality of their products/service is what speaks for the company. Ferrania can't do this...
First off, Dave, I appreciate the lengthy and complete reply. Very much appreciated, especially since I've been labeled a complainer/hater! LOL
Second, yes, that describes pretty much any business starting out, except that you guys are starting out in a fairly old and complex facility that was...
Yes, you are likely talking to the wind. And yes, it is OK to be critical of Ferrania... they’ve done a bad job with many things, and it’s ok to point that out. It’s possible to respect their continued efforts and attempts to bring film products to market, but even Dave Bias admits there were...
Seriously, you can stop with the passive aggressive insults at any time. Totally not necessary.
It's amazing, it's like a being critical about Ferrania around here is sacrilege. Weird.
Everything I've said can pretty much be quoted from Ferrania. They were actually the ones who made the...
